ScreenSnipStudio operates strictly on-device with zero telemetry. All screen captures, vector annotations, image exports, and OCR text extractions are processed locally on your Mac. At no point are screen buffers, personal information, or usage metrics transmitted to the developer or any third party.
2. System Permissions
- Screen Recording (NSScreenCaptureUsageDescription): Required by macOS to capture selected screen areas upon your explicit request. Screen data resides exclusively in transient device memory.
- File System Access: The application only accesses files and directories that you explicitly select via standard macOS open and save dialogs.
3. Third-Party Services & Accounts
The application requires no user account, serves no advertisements, and embeds no third-party tracking, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.
